Media Advisory: Minister Joyce to Attend the 65^th Provincial Convention of the Legion, Newfoundland and Labrador Command

The Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, will attend the opening ceremony of the 65^th Provincial Convention of the Legion, Newfoundland and Labrador Command on Sunday, August 27. The event takes place at Branch #35, 45 Oregon Drive, Stephenville, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Minister Joyce will also attend a wreath laying ceremony at the Stephenville Cenotaph on Carolina Avenue at 1:30 p.m.

For more than 90 years, the Royal Canadian Legion has provided representation, advocacy and financial assistance to serving and retired veterans and their families.
