Public Advisory: Three Forest Access Road Bridges Scheduled for Temporary Closure

Due to required maintenance work, three forest access road bridges in central Newfoundland will be closed to traffic at different times over the coming days:

• The bridge located at the 26 km mark on Sandy Road, which is located south of Grand Falls-Windsor behind the former Abitibi-Bowater mill site, will close today and remain closed tomorrow (Wednesday, July 26). An alternate route will be available to the public during the closure.
• The bridge located at the 21.5 km mark on Chipper Road, located south of Grand Falls-Windsor behind the former Abitibi-Bowater mill site, is scheduled to close from July 28 to 31.
• The bridge located approximately 10.5 km on Miguel Lake Road, which is off the Bay d’Espoir highway (Route 360), approximately 37 km south of the Trans-Canada Highway, is scheduled to close from August 1-5.
