Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Speak at Health Care Foundation Eleganza

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at the Health Care Foundation annual Eleganza tomorrow (Saturday, October 28).

The dinner will take place at the Delta St. John’s in the Avalon Ballroom at 7:00 p.m. Interested media are asked to arrive by 6:45 p.m. Premier Ball is scheduled to speak at approximately 7:10 p.m.

Proceeds from the Eleganza will be used to provide Eastern Health with cell savers. These machines are used to recover and deliver back a patient’s blood during procedures where significant blood loss may occur.
