Tomorrow is Polling Day in Mount Pearl North
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador would like to notify electors in the district of Mount Pearl North that the by-election will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 21, 2017. The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
To find out where to vote, electors should:
- check the Elections Newfoundland and Labrador website (where electors can search for their voting locations using their street names) - www.elections.gov.nl.ca;
- refer to their Voter Information Cards, circulated to registered electors in the mail by Elections Newfoundland and Labrador;
- call the district Returning Office at 745-4711; or
- call Elections Newfoundland and Labrador toll-free at 1-877-729-7987.
Elections Newfoundland and Labrador will release the preliminary results of the by-election as they are received from the district, beginning at 8:00 p.m. when the polls close. Those preliminary results will posted live on the Elections Newfoundland and Labrador website. When all the results have been received, Elections Newfoundland and Labrador will issue a news release with the total preliminary results.
The Official Addition of the Votes will take place at the district Returning Office, beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017. After the Official Addition has concluded, the by-election results will be considered official.
