Minister Gambin-Walsh Invites Applications for Inclusion Grants Funding Program

The Provincial Government is inviting applications for the Inclusion Grants Funding Program, which helps community organizations create more accessible and inclusive facilities and events.

The Inclusion Grants Funding Program provides up to $25,000 to eligible, non-profit, community-based organizations towards the cost of improving accessibility of their facilities. This can include installing ramps, automatic doors or visual alarms. It also provides up to $5,000 to improve inclusion for events and meetings through disability-related accommodations, such as sign language interpretation or captioning.

Since the Inclusion Grants Funding program began, the Provincial Government has helped more than 65 organizations improve accessibility and inclusion. The program will remain open until funding is expended.
