Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Attend Meals on Wheels Event

Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will be in Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, February 20, to attend an event to raise awareness about the Meals on Wheels pilot project and highlight community partnerships. Through the Meals on Wheels program volunteers deliver healthy meals to a client’s home, providing access to proper nutrition.

The event begins 2:00 p.m. at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre cafeteria.
