Media Advisory: Vimy Flight Team Makes Final Stop of Cross-Canada Tour at The Rooms

Vimy Flight, a team of volunteer pilots and ground support is making the final stop of its cross-Canada tour in St. John’s on Friday, November 10, at The Rooms, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Members of the public and media are invited to view the plane, meet the team and attend a talk about the team’s experiences at Vimy and Beaumont Hamel.

Vimy Flight includes a replica Nieuport 11, French single seater First World War fighter plane. The Vimy Biplane ‘Lucie’ has toured the country from coast to coast and was one of the aircraft that flew over the Vimy Memorial on the 100^th anniversary of the battle this past April.
