Media Advisory: The Rooms Continues First World War Commemoration and Launches New Online Exhibition

Dean Brinton, CEO of The Rooms Corporation, and Anne Chafe, Director, Museum Division, will launch a new online exhibition: Beaumont-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundland and Labradorians at War and at Home 1914-1949. The event will take place at The Rooms, tomorrow (Thursday, April 13) beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The Rooms continues its First World War commemorative efforts with the launch of this bilingual online exhibition featuring new stories, a 3D virtual tour of the physical exhibition and a special section dedicated to the battle at Beaumont Hamel. This project was made possible with funding from the Government of Canada
