Media Advisory: Ministers to Attend Community Pancake Breakfasts
The Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board: the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills; the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation; and the Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation; will attend pancake breakfast events in St. John’s tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28.
The events, being held in support of the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network, will raise funds for local service organizations that fight homelessness on the frontlines in our communities.
Bella Vista
The event at the Bella Vista, 24 Torbay Road, is being held from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Minister Byrne will be in attendance at 7:00 a.m, Minister Bennett will arrive at 7:30 a.m. and Minister Gambin-Walsh will arrive at 8:00 a.m.
Hungry Heart Cafe
Stella’s Circle is organizing a pancake breakfast at the Hungry Heart Café, Rawlins Cross from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Minister Mitchelmore will attend at 7:45 a.m.
