Public Advisory: Update on Fogo Island � Change Islands Ferry Service

The Department of Transportation and Works advises that the MV Capt. Earl W. Winsor began providing passenger and vehicle service to travellers to Fogo Island and Change Islands at approximately 7:00 a.m. today (Wednesday, February 3), while repairs to the MV Veteran are ongoing.

The MV Capt. Earl W. Winsor will operate on the winter schedule and will remain operational until the MV Veteran returns from St. John�s where repairs will be made. A timeline for the MV Veteran�s return to service will be determined as repairs progress.

The department assures travellers that every effort is being made to repair the MV Veteran for a return to service as soon as possible and thanks everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
