Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Federal Provincial Territorial Meetings of Ministers Responsible for Housing

The Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, will attend a meeting of federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for Housing June 27- 28 in Victoria.

Among the key issues to be discussed are the development of a national housing strategy and the vision and priorities for affordable and social housing in Canada.

Minister Gambin Walsh will join conference co-chairs, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Federal Minister of Children, Families and Social Development, and the Honourable Rick Coleman, Deputy Premier and Minister Responsible for Housing, British Columbia.
