Public Advisory: Public Cautioned About Illegal Investment Activity

Service NL encourages residents to exercise caution if solicited by Bristol Financial (Offshore) LLC of New York City, New York, and Luxembourg City, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, regarding investments.

This company is not registered to sell securities or derivatives and is not registered to conduct business in Newfoundland and Labrador, thereby acting in contravention of the Securities Act.

Service NL is asking residents of the province who have been approached by representatives of Bristol Financial (Offshore) LLC, to contact the Financial Services Regulation Division.

Before sending money, particularly out of the country, for investments that appear to be too good to be true, residents should take time to know who they are dealing with. Investors can check registrations by visiting the Canadian Securities Administration website at www.securities-administrators.ca and clicking on National Registration Search. If the company or individual is not registered, investors are encouraged to notify Service NL by email at servicenlinfo@gov.nl.ca, or call the Financial Services Regulation Division at (709) 729-2596.
