Media Advisory: Minister Joyce to Participate in Flag Raising for North American
Occupational Safety and Health Week

The Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Service NL and Minister Responsible for Workplace NL, will participate in a flag raising ceremony to recognize North American Occupational Safety and Health Week. The event will take place on Monday, May 2, in St. John's at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of East Block, Confederation Building.

Minister Joyce will be joined by Leslie Galway, CEO of WorkplaceNL, as well as representatives from safety groups and the labour and business sectors.

North American Occupational Safety and Health Week promotes the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace and at home.
