Encouraging Development in the Mining Industry

Request for Proposals Released for Exempt Mineral Land

The Provincial Government has issued a request for proposals for licensing of the mineral rights associated with the Former Consolidated Rambler Tailings Exempt Mineral Land.

�Several companies have expressed interest in obtaining the mineral rights to the Former Consolidated Rambler Tailings Exempt Mineral Land. The Request for Proposals process will ensure that any company interested in developing the property has the opportunity to demonstrate how their proposal can benefit the province. Our government is committed to encouraging and supporting the development of the provincial mining industry.�

The successful proponent will be granted exclusive mineral rights under the Mineral Act either as an Extended Map Staked Licence or a Mining Lease, as appropriate. The proponent�s commitments will be incorporated as terms and conditions of the licence or lease.
