Media Advisory: Minister Joyce to Announce a Policy Change for Crown Lands

The Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Municipal Affairs, will make an announcement tomorrow (Wednesday, November 30) about a policy change that will enhance the availability of Crown lands to municipalities for economic development purposes. The event will take place at the Media Centre, East Block, Confederation Building, at 12:00 p.m.

Minister Joyce will be joined by Karen Oldford, President, Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador.

Media planning to attend are asked to pre-register via email (doriswalsh@gov.nl.ca) or telephone 709-729-3812. Those who do not pre-register will have to proceed through the visitor entrance to access Confederation Building. All registered media will have access through the northeast entrance.
