Media Advisory: Minister Parsons to Participate in Annual Polar Plunge

The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General, will participate in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6 at Sunshine Camp on Thorburn Road, St. John's.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is an international run by law enforcement officers to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics. There are over 650 Special Olympic athletes in Newfoundland and Labrador anticipated to benefit from this year's event.
