Media Advisory: Minister Parsons to Participate in Meetings of Justice and Public Safety Ministers

The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General will attend federal, provincial and territorial meetings of Ministers of Justice and Public Safety from October 12 to 14 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Topics to be discussed by ministers include violence against indigenous women and girls, jurisdictional responses to R. v. Jordan, innovation in the justice system and access to justice for complainants in sexual assault matters.
