Media Advisory: Minister Parsons to Conduct Ride Along with RNC Officer

The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General, will conduct a ride along with a member of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Patrol Services Division on the Northeast Avalon tonight (Wednesday, August 31).

Patrol officers are at the front-line of the RNC's operations and are the first responders to all incidents where police are required. Their work is often unpredictable and can involve a range of situations on any given night. The ride along is an opportunity for Minister Parsons to gain a greater understanding of this aspect of the operations of the RNC.
