Media Advisory: Minister Parsons to
Participate in Police and Peace Officer Memorial Service

The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General, will participate in the International Police and Peace Officer Memorial Service being held tomorrow (Wednesday, May 18). The service begins at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John's Seventh Day Adventist Church, 30 Aldershot Street.

Held annually during National Police Week, the International Police and Peace Officer Memorial Service provides an opportunity to remember and honour the 19 police and peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty since 1861 in Newfoundland and Labrador.
