Media Advisory: Minister Haggie to Hold News Conference on Secure Withdrawal Management Legislation

The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will hold a news conference tomorrow (Thursday, December 8) to provide details on Bill 55, An Act Respecting Secure Withdrawal Management for Young Persons.

Members of the media will be provided with a technical briefing at 11:00 a.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building. The news conference will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Media planning to attend are asked to pre-register via email (doriswalsh@gov.nl.ca) or telephone 709-729-3812. Those who do not pre-register will have to proceed through the visitor entrance to access Confederation Building. All registered media will have access through northeast entrance.
