Public Advisory: All-Party Committee on Mental Health and Addictions to Visit Labrador Communities
The All-Party Committee on Mental Health and Addictions will be visiting communities in Labrador early next week. The committee will hold meetings in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Nain and Sheshatshiu to hear from local government officials, residents and community agencies.
On Monday, September 26, the committee will meet with members of the Innu First Nation in Sheshatshiu. Participants will gather at the Innu Training Centre at 9:15 a.m. with a meeting to follow at the Innu First Nation Office.
Also on Monday, the committee will meet with members of the NunatuKavut Community Council in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The meeting will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the NunatuKavut Community Council Office, 200 Kelland Drive.
On Tuesday, the committee will meet with members of the Nunatsiavut Government in Nain. The meeting will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Nunatsiavut Government Building, 25 Ikajuktauvik Road.
