Media Advisory: Minister to Attend Flag-Raising Ceremony for Eating Disorder Awareness Week

The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will participate in a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate Eating Disorder Awareness Week on Monday, February 1, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the site of Confederation Building�s ceremonial flagpole.

February 1-7 is Eating Disorder Awareness Week. The provincial theme for this year is Eating Disorders Are as Diverse as the People They Affect. Throughout the week, educational activities take place to help raise the level of understanding of eating disorders and encourage prevention, treatment, and recovery.
