Media Advisory: Minister Crocker to Speak at Aquaculture Conference

The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Fisheries Forestry and Agrifoods, will deliver opening remarks at the Aquaculture Canada and Cold Harvest conference, on Monday, September 19. The event will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the Delta St John's Hotel & Conference Centre.

Minister Crocker will also announce details of the Seafood Innovation and Transition Program. This new program focuses on supporting technology and innovation in harvesting, processing, aquaculture and marketing with a focus on rebounding groundfish resources.
