Media Advisory: Premier Ball and Minister Bennett to Participate in Flag Raising for the Provincial Purple Ribbon Campaign

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will participate in a flag raising ceremony to commence the Provincial Purple Ribbon Campaign tomorrow (Friday, November 25). The event is taking place in the East Block lobby of Confederation Building beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The annual Purple Ribbon Campaign was developed to create awareness and prevent violence against women throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
