Media Advisory: Highway of Heroes Officially Named

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Transportation and Works, will join veterans tomorrow (Wednesday, November 9) to officially designate a section of the Trans-Canada highway the "Highway of Heroes". The portion of the highway to be named is between Peacekeepers Way and the Veterans Memorial Highway on the CBS Bypass. The event will take place at the Canadian Forces Station, 115 The Boulevard, St. John's at 10:00 a.m.
