Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Attend Annual Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day Ceremony
The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend the 14th Annual Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade on Sunday, September 25. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial outside East Block, Confederation Building, St. John’s.
The last Sunday in September is proclaimed as Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial Day to honour those police and peace officers who lost their lives in the performance of their duties.
