Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Participate in Joint-Funding Announcement for Genesis Centre

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, along with the Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development and Nick Whalen, Member of Parliament for St. John's East, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, will announce funding for the Genesis Centre tomorrow (Thursday, September 1). The event will take place at the Genesis Centre Boardroom, Suite 3001, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation, Memorial University, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The Genesis Centre is an award-winning business incubator at Memorial University for technology start-ups. It accelerates start-ups through all stages of idea development - from pre-incubation and business model development, to investor readiness.
