Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Announce 2016 Independent Oil and Gas Resource Assessment
The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will release the findings of the 2016 Independent Oil and Gas Resource Assessment today (Wednesday, August 24). The event will take place in the East Block lobby of the Confederation Building, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Siobhan Coady, Minister of Natural Resources; Jim Keating, Executive VP of Corporate Services and Offshore Development, Nalcor Energy; and Pierre-Yves Chenet, Chief Technical Officer, Beicip Franlab.
A technical briefing will be held for media in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, at 1:00 p.m. The briefing will provide details of the assessment process.
