Media Advisory: Premier to Attend the Danger Tree Sculpture Installation

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at the installation of the Danger Tree sculpture on Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus tomorrow (Wednesday, June 29) at 11:00 a.m. The Premier will be joined by the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills. The ceremony will take place on the grounds of the Forest Centre, 20 University Drive, Corner Brook.

The Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, The Princess Royal will dedicate the art installation, which was created by Newfoundland and Labrador sculptor Morgan McDonald to recognize the 100th anniversary of Beaumont-Hamel.
