"The conference provides a mechanism for the ministers responsible for the Canadian Francophonie to participate in discussions that contribute to the growth of Canadian society. Hosting this meeting provides Newfoundland and Labrador the opportunity to gain from the knowledge and experience of our counterparts from across the country, to improve services to our French-speaking citizens. I look forward to meeting with my colleagues and showcasing our unique Francophone and Acadian community culture and heritage."
