Media Advisory: Minister Trimper to Attend Provincial Francophonie Day Celebration

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, will attend a ceremony and flag raising in celebration of Francophonie Day and the 30^th anniversary of the Francophone flag.

The event will take place on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of Confederation Building, East Block.

The event is hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Francophone Federation. Minister Trimper will be joined by students from École des Grand-Vents, Cyrilda Poirier, president of the Francophone Federation, and representatives from Canadian Heritage.
