Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Officially Open Labrador Winter Games
The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and Minister of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Sunday, March 13, to officially open the 2016 Labrador Winter Games.
Opening ceremonies will be held at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, beginning at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude with the lighting of the games torch.
Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Environment and Conservation and MHA for Lake Melville; Randy Edmunds, MHA for Torngat Mountains; Lisa Dempster, MHA for L�Anse au Clair; and Graham Letto, MHA for Labrador West.
The 2016 Labrador Winter Games will conclude on March 19.
