Media Advisory: Minister to Visit Labrador

The Honourable Cathy Bennett, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, will visit Labrador next week to take part in the Labrador Partnership Conference 2016. This week-long series of events is focused on improving the economic status of women, particularly Aboriginal women in the mining industry.

On Monday (February 8), Minister Bennett will bring greetings at the opening of the Roundtable on Aboriginal Women in Mining in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at College of the North Atlantic at 9:00 a.m.
