Nomination Forms Available for School Board Elections

School board trustee nomination forms for the upcoming school board elections of the Newfoundland and Labrador English School Board and le Conseil scolaire francophone provincial de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador are now available. The nomination period runs from October 24 to 28, 2016.

I encourage people to consider becoming a trustee and ask that all eligible voters cast their ballot on November 22."

School board trustees will have a direct impact on school communities and contribute to school board decisions and processes. In addition, trustees will gain experience and work with various education stakeholders and other people interested in strengthening the province’s education system.
