Minister Recognizes the Hard Work of Students and Educators as Summer Break Begins

As another school year draws to a close, the Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, congratulates students and educators throughout the province and wishes them a safe and enjoyable summer.

�Congratulations to all of our students who have successfully completed another year, especially to those who have graduated and are entering a new, exciting phase in their lives. I hope you take pride in your hard work and leave with new knowledge, memories and friends that will last a lifetime. To those students returning in September always keep safety in mind during your adventures and use your time this summer as an opportunity to learn and grow.�

  • Approximately 67,000 students are enrolled in the K-12 school system in the province.
