Media Advisory: Minister Kirby to Address Turning Points Award Ceremony

The Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will bring greetings at the Turning Points Award Ceremony tomorrow (Wednesday, June 1). The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, 7 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Bay South.

The Turning Points program provides opportunities for students to read, write, think and reflect upon personal values and their own experiences in order to write about what is truly important to them. The program is offered by the Learning Partnership, a national charitable organization dedicated to support, promote and advance publicly funded education in Canada.
