Media Advisory: Minister to Attend the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment Meetings

The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Environment and Change, will participate in the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment meeting on Monday, October 3, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain, 1 Place du Canada, in Montreal.

The Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment is the primary minister-led intergovernmental forum for collective action on environmental issues of national and international concern and is comprised of the environment ministers from the federal, provincial and territorial governments. The council seeks to achieve positive environmental results, focusing on issues that are Canada-wide in scope and that require collective attention by a number of governments.
