Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary to Speak at Provincial School Food Gathering

Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will address participants at the Provincial School Food Gathering tomorrow (Thursday, September 22). The event begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network, 77 Charter Ave. in St. John’s.

Co-hosted by the Kids Eat Smart Foundation and Food First NL, the Provincial School Food Gathering will bring together organizations that are currently engaged in school food programs with the aim of strengthening the delivery of such programs in Newfoundland and Labrador.
