Media Advisory: Minister Mitchelmore to Address Community Business Development Corporations

The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will address the Community Business Development Corporations during their Semi-Annual Meeting tomorrow (Friday, December 2) at 11:00 a.m. The event is being held at the Holiday Inn Express, 38 Bennett Avenue, Deer Lake.

A valued partner of the Department of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, the Community Business Development Corporations in Newfoundland and Labrador are a network of not-for-profit organizations that offer a variety of programs and services to help entrepreneurs start, expand or modernize their businesses. These organizations offer valuable business counselling, training and advisory services, as well as small business financing.
