Media Advisory: Minister Mitchelmore to Speak at Newleef Conference

The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will speak at the opening of Newleef, Newfoundland and Labrador's Green Economy Conference tomorrow (Wednesday, October 12). The event takes place at the Holiday Inn, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John's, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The minister will speak at approximately 8:50 a.m.

Newleef is an annual two-day conference organized by the Newfoundland and Labrador Environmental Industry Association. The event focuses on the products, services, technologies, policies, and innovations in the province that can help build our economy and protect, mitigate effects to, or even enhance the natural environment in the process.
