East Coast Trail Association Receives $100,000 Operational Grant
The East Coast Trails is one of the province’s most popular tourism attractions. Through Budget 2016, the Provincial Government has provided $100,000 to the East Coast Trail Association to support trail operations and maintenance.
“With its stunning views and breathtaking landscapes, the East Coast Trail provides both residents and visitors an incredible outdoor experience. The vision and hard work of groups like the East Coast Trail Association help not only the tourism industry, but the entire province to grow and prosper. We are pleased to support their efforts and look forward to working with the association to support the trail for future generations to visit and enjoy.”
- The Honourable Christopher Mitchemore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development
