Public Advisory: Conservation Officers Enforcing Restriction on Exploit's River Bridge
The Exploits River Bridge, located seven kilometres south of Millertown, is restricted to single-lane, single-vehicle access. The Forestry and Agrifoods Agency advises that the restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of the public and forest workers.
Tractor trailers and heavy equipment are subject to this restriction. Anyone found in violation will be charged under the Forestry Act, Section 114. Conservation officers with the agency are monitoring the area.
For further information, please contact the Springdale District Office of the Forestry and Agrifoods Agency at 709-673-3821.
