Highlighting Innovation: GRi Simulations Strikes Success on the International Stage

Innovation Week, a series of events dedicated to the advances being made in Newfoundland and Labrador's technology sector, is being held this week. During Innovation Week, the department will shine a spotlight on some of the innovative companies that are experiencing success and providing economic benefit to the province and its people. This includes Gri Simulations; a Mount Pearl-based company that recently signed a joint venture with Brazil-based Under Water Group.

"Congratulations to Gri Simulations on breaking into the South American market with their new joint venture with Under Water Group of Brazil. Innovation has a tremendous influence on our province's social and economic development. Throughout the international market, the opportunities for local companies operating in the ocean technology sector are plentiful and it is essential they are able to connect with other professionals in a strategic and timely manner. GRi has done this with skillful success and is a great example of an innovative and progressive company operating internationally."
