Media Advisory: Minister to Speak at Canadian Manufacturing and Exporters Conference
The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development, will speak at the Canadian Manufacturing and Exporters', Newfoundland and Labrador Division Conference tomorrow (Tuesday, May 10) at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John's.
The Canadian Manufacturing and Exporters (CME) is Canada's largest trade and industry association. The CME represents more than 10,000 companies nationwide and works with more than 100,000 companies. Engaged in manufacturing, international trade, and service-related industries, collectively, CME's membership network accounts for an estimated 82 per cent of Canadian manufacturing production and 90 per cent of all goods and services exports.
