Media Advisory: Ministers Mitchelmore and Kirby to Attend Rooting for Health Event
The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister Responsible for the Forestry and Agrifoods Agency, and the Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will help school-age children recognize the relationship between farming, food and health by serving breakfast to students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 at Larkhall Academy tomorrow (Friday, March 11). The breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria, 16 Larkhall Street, St. John’s
Rooting for Health is a partnership between Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture, Egg Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador and the School Milk Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador. In Newfoundland and Labrador five schools will participate.
