Public Advisory: Applications Open for Job Creation Partnerships Program
The Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour is now accepting applications for a third round
of the Job Creation Partnerships Program (JCP) for the 2016-17 fiscal year.
The application deadline for the third round is November 14, 2016, and is intended for projects which
can be reasonably carried out over the winter months and must be completed on or before March 31, 2017.

The Job Creation Partnerships Program is administered by the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour under the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement (LMDA). Funding is provided through direct contributions to sponsors or through the extension of Employment Insurance (EI) benefits for project participants, and may include in-kind contributions from sponsors.
Approvals of projects are based on considerations such as, the number of EI eligible individuals in the application area, the value of the work experience for participants and other relevant labour market information.
