Media Advisory: Minister Byrne to Attend Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy Consultation in Corner Brook

The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, will bring greetings and participate in an Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy Consultation, tomorrow (Friday, September 23) in Corner Brook. The consultation will take place at the College of the North Atlantic Corner Brook Campus, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

To date, consultations have been held in St. John's, Grand Falls-Windsor and Happy Valley-Goose Bay. For a full list of remaining sessions, please see below:

The provincial consultations are ensuring stakeholders have an opportunity to provide input on what they feel is currently working with the Apprenticeship Wage Subsidy program and equally, what changes or modifications they would view as necessary given the current and future labour market demands for skilled trades.
