Public Advisory: Provincial Roundtables on Labour Market Transfer Agreements Continue

The Department of Advanced Education and Skills is currently holding roundtables on federal-provincial agreements that support efforts to train and develop the workforce needed to secure a better future for Newfoundland and Labrador.

These agreements and other provincial initiatives provide over $172 million annually for employment and skills training. To help ensure the agreements are relevant, flexible and responsive, consultations are taking place throughout Canada.

Groups and individuals are invited to participate in the following roundtables:

Please confirm attendance by emailing workforcedevelopment@gov.nl.ca or calling (709) 729-0226. Individuals unable to attend a roundtable but who wish to participate are encouraged to indicate interest in participating through a session via tele/video conference.

Individuals can also submit written comments by August 19, 2016 through the Forum of Labour Market Ministers (FLMM) Secretariat at fmmt.flmm@mess.gouv.qc.ca using the FLMM compiled discussion paper www.flmm-fmmt.ca.
