Public Advisory: Motorists Advised of Lane Closure on Trans-Canada Highway

The Department of Transportation and Works advises motorists that a section of the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH), between Soldier’s Pond and Butter Pot Park, will be reduced to one lane, effective today (Tuesday, September 22). The reduction is necessary to begin work on a culvert replacement near Kelly's Pond.

Due to the geography of the area and the nature of the work, the TCH will be reduced to one lane for approximately two kilometres beginning seven kilometres west of the Foxtrap interchange.

The posted speed limit in the area will be reduced to 50 kilometres per hour, and the public is asked to use caution and follow all construction signage.

The Department of Transportation and Works apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
