Media Advisory: Ministers to Attend Pride Week Flag-Raising Ceremony

The Honourable Clyde Jackman, Minister of Seniors, Wellness and Social Development, and the Honourable Steve Kent, Deputy Premier and Minister Responsible for the Office of Public Engagement, will join community representatives at a Pride Week 2015 flag-raising ceremony on Monday, July 20, to officially launch the week's activities.

Attendees are invited to meet in the lobby of the East Block of the Confederation Building at 9:50 a.m., and then proceed to the courtesy flagpole located outside the link between the East and West Blocks. The event begins at 10:00 a.m.

Minister Kent will also attend the Pride Week 2015 flag-raising at St. John's City Hall at 12:00 noon.
